For each category we will recommend 3 adult gadgets we think should be in your collection. But we'd love to hear your suggestions for what you'd give a friend, loved one and/or family member who love their adult gadgets.

For Her

There are so many options so we thought we'd suggest something from what we think are the main categories - grinders, dildos and vibrators. It's simplistic but we think it helps most people understand the differences. Anyway...

Dildos

Fantasy dildos have become very popular in recent times with a growing range of fantasy dildos available. So why not treat your female friends to a sweet fantasy dildo. There are literally so many to choose from, it can become distracting knowing what to look at or consider when buying one.

We're hoping you know your sex toy obsessed friend(s) well enough to have some insight here.

Before you start filling up your cart, consider length and girth of the fantasy toy and what the gadget looks like.

Grinders

Just like fantasy dildos, there is probably an even bigger ranger of fantasy grinders. Although, you can find less interesting grinders, we'll actually leave the decision about which variety you get entirely up to you.

However, adventure makes adult time a whole lot more fun. Exploring our joys, pleasures and kinks should be encouraged. But like we said, the sort of grinder is up to you and we expect you would know the people you're gifting it to.

However, the team swears by going for something like the The Cowgirl Rodeo Rumbler or the Iride Pleasure Seat from Doc Johnson. They are not in the fantasy genre and are very much an accessible gadget that won't invoke questions about how to use it and why it has tentacles. But if your gift is going to someone who is a little adventurous then definitely go for a fantasy grinder.

Not sure about the sort of fantasy grinder then go for one that has a flatter surface, yet if you know they like something more "interesting" then get them a grinder that has something to grind on. House of Dasein have a good line up of toys or check out Amazon.

While we would love to tell you which ones to get, we haven't yet done a grinder review. (This is about to change but we wanted to get The Klaus List out asap, so stay tuned for that review and an update here).

Vibrators

We think there is only one of two kinds of vibrators you should think about getting - a clitoral vibrator or panty vibrator. Either option makes for a classic adult gadget gift.

But what would we suggest? You can get great clit adult toys that won't break the bank but we strongly suggest you don't opt for the lower end of the price scale. While you get a good price, you get a very average toy that won't last nearly as long as it should. We recommend the Satisfyer One Night Stand vibrator or the Tiny Teasers Bunny gadget.

If it's the panty vibrator you're thinking of getting, we really recommend getting a higher priced gadget. They are built better, last longer and usually include a remote controlled option. (We hope you're really great friends if you go with a gadget that has a remote controlled option.) Here we'd recommend the Lovense Ferri but you can get a great quality panty gadget for less in options like the Leto Mirage Heartbeat panty gadget.

But if you're really unsure about these options you can get great adult gadgets for her with options like the classic vibrator or a bullet vibrator.

For Him

There are not as many toys but that is changing and there is a rapidly improving range of toys for him. There are some great options and we've divided them up into masturbators, dolls and prostate toys. It'll become obvious as you read further down our list why we didn't say "anal" gadgets.

Masturbators

Masturbators are becoming big business and for good reason. There are different sizes, colors and options, including a growing number of fantasy masturbators.

There are a lot of options to choose from, it can become distracting knowing what to look at or consider when buying one.

Before you start filling up your cart, consider the size and weight, depth of the gadget, whether it's easy to travel with, the gadget's material (silicone or TPE) and what the gadget looks like.

Prostate Toys

If you're guy friends haven't heard about the prostate and how it can deliver huge rewards, then you might introduce them to the range of prostate toys.

Here we recommend going with either a wand like the Dr Joel Kaplan Prostate massager. For first timers, this is a less "scary" toy as it is entirely controlled by the user or user's friend. This option means you can go with something a little cheaper but again, why do that when for a few more dollars you can get them a great toy that'll last many hours of adult fun.

But if you want to go with a vibrating option, we'd recommend going with an adult gadget like the Quest Prostate Bullet. Selecting a prostate adult gadget that has vibration options that isn't too "invasive" is always the best way to go, especially if you're unsure of their willingness to explore new ways of erupting in pleasure.
